Reuse-Xanadu

Launched in 2010 Reuse-Xanadu is a community re-use centre that aims to collect and sell a variety of unwanted donated goods and materials given by private, industry and business donors.

Reuse- Xanadu is more than just a Reuse Centre, its aim is also to build education amongst the community and encourage the saving and value of reusing items that would otherwise have been destined to become landfill.

Reuse-Xanadu aims to build wealth in the local community and make better use of material resources by:

• Enabling general public and traders to be more sustainable
• Generating accessible vocational training and employment opportunities
• Contributing to revitalising the local community
• Encouraging locals to utilise the Centre for both donations and purchases.
